ATTENTION - IMMEDIATE SAFETY MESSAGE
On Friday afternoon, April 17, 1998, an incident
involving a suspected explosive device occurred
at a Department of Natural Resources gate in the
Cumberland area in King County. The device was
placed inside the lock box. When a DNR employee
reached up inside the lock box, the device fell into
his hand. The device did not detonate.
Other devices of this nature have been found on other
DNR gates as well as private timber company gates
throughout the Puget Sound area.
This message is to warn you to carefully look up into
the lock box of any gate you are planning to use,
particularly for access to state land. If anything
unfamiliar or suspect is present, contact the local law
enforcement agency for your area.
Suggestion from DNR:
Take along a hand mirror and use that to inspect
the lock box. Hold it in the hand you *don't* use
for writing.

New Site
Goldspar has just acquired some land in Selah which is just north of Yakima. There is a cement block building but no tower. If you are interested in this site please contact Alan to discuss your tower requirements. We can probably build a tower to meet your needs by the time you can get a license. More information.
